The purpose of the visi[ on July 13, 2007 was to observe the placement of Ihe various holddown hardware prior to the concrete pour. Building 35 was observed during this visit. Minor items, such as holddowns without reinforcing within their shear cones and minimum rebar clearance, were brought to [he attention of the concrete foreman and were corrected during [he pre-slab visi[. After the visit on July 13, 2007, Buiiding 35 appeared to be in substantial conformance with the cast-in-place holddown requirements of the Structural Plans. This office made site visiu on January 29, 2008 and January 31, 2008, to observe rough framing for the above mentioned building for substantial conformance to the structural plans. Deficient items, (some were quite minor), were discussed with either Tony Ramos with Westem National Construction or TWR's Framing Foreman. The rough framing, after our las[ visit on January 31, 2008, had these deficient items corrected, and appeared to be in substan[ial confortnance wi[h the sWchual plans.
