Pursuant to your request, this office has made several site visits to the above described project. The pwpose of the
visit on August t3, 2007 was to observe the placement of the various holddown hardwaze prior to the concrete pour.
Building 43 was observed d�sing this visit. Deficient items, some quite minor; were brought to the attenlion of the
conccete foreman and were correded during the pre-slab visit and Building 43 appeazed to be in substanrial
confoimence with struchaal dcawings.
This office made a site visit on February 19, 2008 and February 21, 2008, to observe rough fiaming for the above
menrioned building for substantial conformance to the structural plans. Deficient items, some were quite minor, were
discussed.with either Tony Ramos with Western Narional Construction or 1'WR's Framing Foreman. Observed
deficient items were coaected and the rough framing appeared to be in substantial conformance wiih the shuctural
drawings by the time ais visits were complete.
These observatioas aze intended only to assist the framing contractor in conformance with the structival plans as they
relate to this residential apar�eat project and are not to be construed as "Special Inspecrions". 'I'he responsibility

As reyuested, NMG Georechnical, Inc. WMG) has prepazed this document to present the
results of our geotechnical observation and testing during the precise and post grading
operations, and our special inspection services at the subject site. Our services during grading
activities included observation and testing during utility line trench backfill, footing excavations,
and hardscape subgrade prepazations. [n addition, NMG has performed special inspection
services, including structural concrete reinforcement; structural concrete placement; stressing of
post-tension cables; welding; hardware epoxy fix; and concrete compressive strength testing.
Based on our observation and testing, the above improvements were performed in substantial
compliance with our recommendation, project specification, and the requirements of the City of
Costa Mesa. Details of our observation and testing, including field density test results and
locations will be provided in sepazate repor[s.
