Pursuant to your request, this office has made several site visits to the above described project. The purpose of the
visit on August 8, 2007 was to observe the placement of the vatious holddown hazdware prior to the concrete pour.
Building 45 was observed during this visit. Deficient items, some quite minor; were brought to the attenfiou of the
concrete foreman aud were corrected during the pre-slab visit and Building 45 appeared to be in subsiantial
confoimance with structwal drawings.
This office made a site visit on February 21, 20(IS and February 26, 2008, to observe rough framing. for the above
mentioned building for substantial conformance to tLe structival plans. Deficient items, some were quite minor, were
discussed.witb either Tony Ramos with Westem Narional Construction or TWR's Framing Foreman. Observed
deficieut items were corrected and the rough framing appeared to be in substanual conformance with the shuctu�al
drawiags by the time our visits were complete..
These observations are intended only to assist the framing conhaaor in conformauce with the structural plans as they

As requested, NMG Georechnical, Inc. (NMG) has prepared this document to present the
results of our geotechnical observation and testing during the precise and post grading
operations, and our special inspection services at the subject site. Our services during grading
activities included observation and testing during utility line trench backfill, footing excavations,
and hardscape subgrade prepazations. In addition, NMG has performed special inspection
services, including structural concrete reinforcement; structural concrete placement; stressing of
post-tension cables; welding; hardwaze epoxy fix; and concrete compressive strength testing.
Based on our observation and testing, the above improvements were performed in substantial
compliance with our recommendation, project specification, and the requirements of the City of
Costa Mesa. Details of our observation and testing, including field density test results and
locations will be provided in sepazate reports.
