1. Contractor shall arrange for a special inspector as per
Section 305, U.B.C.
2. The inspector shall contact or present himself, with credentials,
to the Building Official prior to contractor calling for steel
inspection by Costa Mesa Building Department.
Contractor shall not start gunite or concrete placement until
special inspector is on the job and has sampled and/or tested
materials.
2. See Section 2609 - Concrete shall be placed, not poured, if this
pool is not gunited. Contractor shall provide accurate forms
adequately braced in position prior to placing concrete or
calling for steel inspection. Forms shall remain in place from
4 to 10 days subject to inspection.
3. If pool is dug in expansive soil, additional engineering, steel
and/or Gunite will be required.
4. All vents 5' minimum from p.l.
5. Section 8107, Municipal Code - No swimming pool shall be con-
structed under any electric power lines or on any electric power
easement. It is the responsibility of the applicant to provide
information about easements, which may affect the pool location.
For further information regarding a possible utility easement,
contact your utility company.
This sheet is a part of these plans and shall remain attached thereto.
