HomeMy WebLinkAbout04-77 - Establishing Salary Range for Job Classifications Represented by CMPMA (2004-2007 MOU)RESOLUTION NO. 04-77 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISIHING THE SALARY RANGE FOR THE JOB CLASSIFICATION REPRESENTED BY THE COSTA MESA POLICE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION (CMPMA) TO REFLECT THE ESTABLISHED LABOR MARKETPLACE PURSUANT TO THE 2004-2007 MOU. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Police Lieutenant job classification is hereby established and placed under the Basic Pay Schedule for Sworn Police Lieutenants at the salary range and monthly rates of pay specified effective August 22, 2004. The monthly rate of pay may also be in increments between the monthly minimum and maximum pay step. In addition, the City pays the employees' nine percent (9%) retirement contribution to the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CaIPERS).
