A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, INCORPORATING THE CITY'S
SPECIAL EVENT FEES WITH THE CITY'S ANNUAL FEE
RESOLUTION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa has heretofore established,
pursuant to Resolution No. 04-7, various schedules of rates, fees, and charges for
services provided by the City including, but not limited to, rates, fees, and charges for the
rental of facilities, building permits, public services, and public safety (the "Annual Fee
Resolution'); and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa has also heretofore
established, pursuant to Administrative Regulation 2.13, a separate schedule of rates,
fees, and charges for special event city services provided by the City for special events
including, but not limited to, rates, fees, and charges for police traffic control, public
services and other city employee services required for such special events; and
WHEREAS, in conjunction with the enactment of an amended special event
ordinance, it has been determined that the Administrative Regulation should be repealed
and the departmental fee schedule for special events be included with the Annual Fee

charged for special events with the Annual Fee Resolution and no new fees are being
established at this time, it is not necessary to comply with the notice and hearing
procedures set forth in Government Code Section 66016 at. seq.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
Section 1. Administrative Regulation 2.13 is hereby repealed.
