HomeMy WebLinkAbout78-46 Adoption of final development plan for 950 BakerORDINANCE NO. 78'V6 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, CONCERNING THE ADOPTION OF THE FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN OF WILLIAM J. CAGNEY FOR THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT LOCATED AT 950 BAKER STREET. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEARBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa hereby finds and declares that the developer, William J. Cagney, has heretofore processed a Prelimi- nary Development Plan, being ZE-78-80A, for the planned development located in PDR -MD zone at 950 Baker Street, Costa Mesa, California; that said Preliminary Development Plan has heretofore been processed and approved pursuant to Section 13-247 et seq., Costa Mesa Municipal Code. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa further finds that said developer has now submitted a Final Devel- opment Plan for said development which has been found by the Costa Mesa Planning Commission, on September 11, 1978, to substantially comply with said Preliminary Development Plan, and to substantially comply with the intent, stand- ards, and procedures of said ordinance, the California Environmental Quality Act, Chapters 3 and 4 of Title 7 of the California Government Code relating to Local Plan- ning, and Articles 2, 3, and 4, Chapter III, Title 1.3 of the Costa Mesa Municipal Code to the extent applicable, which findings are approved and adopted herein; that no major change or addition to said Final Development Plan has occurred subsequent to its approval by said Planning Commission; finally, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa finds that this matter is being adopted by ordinance, rather than resolution, to comply with applicable laws and shall not require inclusion in the Costa Mesa Municipal Code since it concerns four contiguous parcels of land only and may be indexed on the City Clerk's Miscellaneous Uncodified Ordinance list. SECTION 2. The Final Development Plan of William J. Cagney for the planned development, being No. ZE-78-80A, located in a PDR -MD zone at 950 Baker Street, Costa Mesa, is hereby approved. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof, shall be published once in the Orange Coast Daily Pilot, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same.
