ORDINANCE NO. 83-9
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, CHANGING THE ZONING OF
PORTIONS OF IAT 28, TRACT 376, FROM R2 TO CL.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby placed and included in the CL zone a portion
of that real property located at 2570 Newport Boulevard, 1982-1983 Assessor
Parcel Numbers 439-171-22 and 439-171-24, situated in the City of Costa Mesa,
County of Orange, State of California, to wit:
"The westerly 100 feet of the south one-half of Lot 28 of Tract 376 and
the westerly 150 feet of the northerly one-half of Lot 28 of Tract 376
as shown on a map recorded in Book 15, Page 29 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County."
SECTION 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 13-79 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Costa Mesa, District Map G-6 of the'City of Costa Mesa,
copy of which is on file in the office of the Planning Division, is hereby
amended by the addition thereto of the CL area described in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty
(30) days from and after the passage thereof, and prior to the expiration of
fifteen (15) days from its passage shall be published once in the ORANGE
COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published
in the City of Costa Mesa or, in the alternative, the City Clerk may cause to
be published a summary of this Ordinance and a certified copy of the text of
this Ordinance shall be posted in the office of the City Clerk five (5) days
prior to the date of adoption of this Ordinance, and within fifteen (15)
days after adoption, the City Clerk shall cause to be published the aforemen-
tioned summary and shall post in the office of the City Clerk a certified copy
of this Ordinance together with the names of the members of the City Council
voting for and against the same.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of May, 1983.

meeting of said City Council held on the 18th day of April, 1983, and there-
after passed and adopted as a whole at a regular meeting of said City Council
held on the 2nd day of May, 1983, by the following roll call vote:

NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Schafer
