AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, CHANGING THE ZONING OF A
PARCEL OF LAND LYING WITHIN LOT A OF THE BANNING
TRACT, IN THE RANCHO SANTIAGO DE SANTA ANA, FROM
I AND R TO PDR -HD.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby placed and included in the PDR -HD (Planned
Development Residential - High Density) zone, that portion of the real
property located at 2501 Harbor Boulevard, a portion of 1984-85 Assessor
Parcel Number 420-012-10, situated in the City of Costa Mesa, County of
Orange, State of California, described in Exhibit A attached hereto.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 13-79 of the Costa
Mesa Municipal Code, District Maps B-5 and B-6 of the City of Costa Mesa,
copies of which are on file in the office of the Planning Division, is
hereby amended by the addition thereto of the PDR -HD area described in
Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
thirty (30) days from and after the passage thereof, and prior to the
expiration of fifteen (15) days from its passage shall be published once in
the ORANGE COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed
and published in the City of Costa Mesa or, in the alternative, the City
Clerk may cause to be published a summary of this Ordinance and a certified
copy of the text of this Ordinance shall be posted in the office of the
City Clerk five (5) days prior to the date of adoption of this Ordinance,
and within fifteen (15) days after adoption, the City Clerk shall cause to
be published the aforementioned summary and shall post in the office of
the City Clerk a certified copy of this Ordinance together with the names
of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May, 1985.

A parcel of land lying within Lot A of the Banning Tract, in the Rancho Santiago de Santa
Ana, City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map of
said Tract filed in Action No. 6385 in the Superior Court of the State of California, in
and for the County of Los Angeles, being an action for Partition entitled Hancock
Banning, et al vs. Mary H. Banning, more particulary described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Harbor Boulevard and the Easterly
prolongation of the North line of Lot A of the Banning Tract as shown on a Record
of Survey filed in Book 53, Pages 34 through 36 of Records of Survey in the office
of the County Recorder of Orange County; thence South 89°28113" West along said
