HomeMy WebLinkAbout85-37 Rezoning of Portion of Lots 1-12, and Lots A, B, C, of Tract 74, from R2, C1 and C2, to R4ORDINANCE NO. 85-37 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF LOTS 1 THROUGH 12, INCLUSIVE, AND LATS A, B, AND C OF TRACT 74 FROM R2, Cl AND C2 TO R4. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. There is hereby placed and included in the R4 zone, all that real property located between West 19th Street, Park Avenue, Plumer Street, and Anaheim Avenue, 1984-85 Assessor Parcel Numbers 424-221-01 through 424-221-19, situated in the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California, described in Exhibit "A" attached. SECTION 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 13-79 of the Costa Mesa Municipal Code, District Map B-2 of the City of Costa Mesa, a copy of which is on file in the office of the Planning Division, is hereby amended by the addition thereto of the R4 areas described in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after the passage thereof, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from its passage shall be published once in the ORANGE COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa or, in the alternative, the City Clerk may cause to be published a summary of this Ordinance and a certified copy of the text of this Ordinance shall be posted in the office of the City Clerk five (5) days prior to the date of adoption of this Ordinance, and within fifteen (15) days after adoption, the City Clerk shall cause to be published the aforementioned sumary and shall post in the office of the City Clerk a certified copy of this Ordinance together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same.
