ORDINANCE NO. 81-13
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, CHANGING THE ZONING OF
LOT'S FOUR THROUGH TEN OF TRACT 3954, LOT ONE
AND PORTIONS OF LOTS TWO AND THREE, BLOCK "F",
BERRY TRACT FROM MG TO C2.'
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby placed and included in the C2 zone, all that
real property located at 2930 Bristol Street; 690, 691, 696, 697, 702, 703, and
709 Randolph Avenue; and the 5.78 -acre parcel at the eastern terminus of Randolph
Avenue to wit:
1979-1980 Assessor Parcel Numbers 141-284-05 through 08, 141-285-05 through 08,
and 141-292-06.
All that certain land situated in the County of Orange, State of California,
described as: Lots 4 through 10 of Tract 3954 as per map recorded in Book 14,
Pages 46 and 47 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of
said County.
Together with Lot 1 in Block F of the Berry Tract, excepting therefrom a strip
of land 40 feet wide off of and near the southeasterly side of Lot 1 as conveyed to
the Santa Ana and Newport Railway Company by deed recorded in Book 47 Page 130 of
Deeds of Orange County.
Together with that portion of Lots 2 and 3 in Block F of the Berry Tract, in
the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded
in Book 30, Page 74 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 13-79 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Costa Mesa, District Map E-7 of the City of Costa Mesa, copy
of which is on file in the office of the Planning Division, is hereby amended by
the addition thereto of the C2 area described in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30)
days from and after the passage thereof, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15)
days from its passage shall be published once in the ORANGE COAST DAILY PILOT, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa or,
in the alternative, the City Clerk may cause to be published a summary of this Ordi-
nance and a certified copy of the text of this Ordinance shall be posted in the
office of the City Clerk five (5) days prior to the date of adoption of this Ordi-
nance and within fifteen (15) days after adoption, the City Clerk shall cause to be
published, the aforementioned summary and shall post in the office of the City Clerk
a certified copy of this Ordinance together with the names of the members of the
City Council voting for and against the same.
