CITY OF COSTA MESA
October 27, 1959
The City:(buncil of the City of Costa Mesa met in adjourned regular
session having adjourned by order of the City Council at its ad-
journed regular meeting of October 26, 1959, and the Clerk report-
ing that a copy of the Order of Adjournment was posted as required
by law, at 8:00 o'clock a.m, October 27, 1959,'at. the -City Hall,
695 West 19th Street, Costa Mesa. The meeting was called to
order by the Mayor followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the
Flag and Invocation by Mayor Smith.
ROLL CALL Councilmen Present: Rea, B.Smith, Meyers, J.Smith
Councilmen Absent: Pinkley
Officials Present: City Manager, Director of Public Works,
City Attorney, City Engineer, Chief Deputy

Bristol No. 4 Annexa- A report was read from the Costa Mesa Planning Commission, stating
tion that they had been presented with a request for an inhabited an-
nexation, with the recommen&tion that the Council receive the re-
quest and given consent to the proponents to start the inhabited
proceedings for annexations.
Thereupon it was moved by Councilman B.Smith, seconded by
Councilman Meyers, and carried, that the City Council hereby gives
its consent to the proponents to commence proceedings for the
proposed annexation known as "Bristol No. 4 Annexation".
Adjournment Thereupon it was moved by Councilman B.Smith, seconded by Council-
man Rea, and carried, that the meeting be adjourned at 8:07 a.m.
to 11:45 a.m. on October 27, 1959, at the Council Chambers in the
City Hall, 695 West 19th Street, Costa Mesa.
