CITY OF COSTA MESA
February 2, 1966
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa met in
special session at 8:30 p.m., February 2, 1966, in
the Council Chamber at the City Hall, 695 West 19th
Street, Costa Mesa, California, at the call of
Mayor Robert M. Wilson, notification having been
duly given in accordance with law, for the purpose
of selection of the operator -manager for the Costa.
Mesa Municipal Golf and Country Club Corporation.
Following the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, Mayor
Wilson called the meeting to order.
Roll Call Councilmen Present: Pinkley, Jordan, Barck, Thompson,
Wilson
Councilmen Absent: None
Officials Present: City Manager, City Attorney,
Director of Public Works,
Director of Finance, and the
following Directors.of the Costa
Mesa Municipal Golf and Country
Club Corporation: Nick Ziener,
Phil Sullivan, Peg Reinert and
Attorney George Tobias
The Clerk read the call for the Special Meeting and
announced that notification had been duly given.
Applications for.the. operation and management of the
Applications discussedCosta Mesa Municipal Golf Course were reviewed and
and reviewed discussed by the Council and the directors of the
non-profit corporation. No decision was reached.
Adjournment On motion by Councilman Jordan, seconded by Councilman
Pinkley, and carried, the meeting was adjourned at
10:05 p.m.
