Oral. Mrs. Ellis.Christoff,'598 Sturgeon Drive, Costa Mesa,
Communications spoke regarding the problem of noise emitting from
motorcycles, using an open.space.area near her resi-

had been posted on several occasions, but each time
the -signs have been removed. The City --Attorney
indicated.that once property has-been posted, it
remains posted, even if the signs are removed, unless
at -the direction of the owner. After considerable
discussion, the City Manager.:stated that he would get.
together with the City Attorney in an effort to
resolve the problem.
Councilmanic Councilman -Wilson reported on -the unattractive and

throughout the City, and recommended that an ordinance

Penal Code against, defacingproperty but the problem

witnessed by them, or take down license numbers etc.
Orange Coast Councilman.Jordan presented a request from.the Orange
Chapter - Order_ Coast Chapter -of the Order of DeMolay to continue the
of DeMolay project -of painting addresses on -curbs, and.asked that
the $100.00 Performance Bond and Section: -6914J of the
Municipal_:Code be waived as -they have been in the past.
On motion.by Councilman Jordan, seconded by Councilman
Wilson, and carried unanimously, Councilman Pinkley
absent, the request was approved.
Bus Service The Mayor -requested permission'to contact -the Orange
County Transit District to determine if the bus service
in Costa Mesa could be rerouted through the Fairgrounds
to accommodate the.senior citizens on days when their
clubs meet. On motion by Councilman Raciti, seconded
by Councilman Jordan, and carried, Councilman Pinkley
absent, the request was approved.
