Mrs..Christoff indicated that the..property had been posted on several occasions, but each time the -signs have been removed. The City --Attorney indicated.that once property has-been posted, it remains posted, even if the signs are removed, unless at -the direction of the owner. After considerable discussion, the City Manager.:stated that he would get. together with the City Attorney in an effort to resolve the problem. Councilmanic Councilman -Wilson reported on -the unattractive and Comments unrestrained graffiti he has observed -on buildings throughout the City, and recommended that an ordinance Sign Painting be drawn.up to,control this activity. The City on Walls Attorney reported that there.are sections of the State Penal Code against, defacingproperty but the problem lies in the enforcement of this section whereby it is necessary to.witness the unlawful act.
