ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF COSTA MESA
October 19, 1978
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, California,
met in adjourned regular session on October 19, 1978, at
5:30 p.m., in the fifth floor Conference Room of City
Hall, 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, said meeting having
been duly adjourned from the regular meeting of October
16, 1978, and Noticelof Adjournment having been posted
as required by law. The Mayor called the meeting to
order.
Council Members Present: McFarland, Schafer, Raciti,
Hertzog, Hall
Council Members Absent: None
Officials Present: City Manager, Assistant Plan-
ning Director, City Clerk
The -Mayor announced that the meeting had been adjourned
for the purpose of interviewing applicants for two
vacant positions on the Planning Commission left by
Commissioners Shirley Price.and J. Donn Hall. The fol-
„ lowing applicants were interviewed: Boyd McCullough,
Charles Rapp, -Maureen M. DiDomenico, Margaret A. Gordon,
Raymond R. Hajek, Sally Velie, Ray Q. Hayes, DeLane
Thyen,, Joan Margol, and Charles Beck. After discussion,
on motion by Mayor McFarland, seconded by Councilwoman
Hertzog, and carried, DeLane Thyen was appointed to the
DeLane Thyen and', Planning Commission to fill the unexpired term of
Maureen DiDomenico Shirley Price, which expires on June 30, 1980. On
Appointed motion by Vice Mayor Schafer., seconded by Councilwoman
Hertzog, and carried, Maureen DiDomenico was appointed
to the Planning Commission to fill.the unexpired term
of J. Donn Hail, which expires on June 30, 1980.
Adjournment The Mayor adjourned the meeting at 11:30 p.m.
