HomeMy WebLinkAbout01/20/1982 - Adjourned City Council MeetingADJOURNED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF COSTA MESA January 20, 1982 The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, California, met in adjourned regular session on January 20, 1982, at 5:30 p.m., in the fifth floor Conference Room of City Hall, 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, said meeting having been duly and regularly ordered adjourned from the meeting of January 18, 1982, and a copy of the Notice of Adjournment having been posted as required by law. Roll Call Council Members Present: Schafer, Hall, Hertzog, McFarland, Johnson Council Members Absent: Officials Present: None City Manager, Assistant City Attorney, Development Services Director, City Clerk At this point the City Clerk was excused from the balance of the meeting. Interview of The Mayor announced interviews of applicants for the va- Applicants for cant seat on the Planning Commission would begin. Each the Planning interview was 15 minutes in length. The following candi- Commission dates were interviewed: James E. Bransfield, Charles Markel, Francis L. Andreen, Jr., Donna R. North, Dorothy Adams, Mark A. Sloate, Victoria Carella, Richard A. Christman, Leslie Ferguson, Donald W. O'Neal, James Michael Ferryman, Samuel R. Lane, Leonard James Goldman,, William E. Steel, and Robert R. Wine. Planning A motion was made by Vice Mayor Hall, seconded by Council - Commissioner man Johnson, and carried unanimously, and Mark Sloate was Appointed appointed to fill the unexpired term of Richard Carstensen, on the Planning Commission, term to expire December 31, 1982. Traffic A motion was made by Vice Mayor Hall, seconded by Council - Commissioner woman Hertzog, and carried, the Mayor was authorized to Appointed ask Donald W. O'Neal to fill the unexpired term of Mark Sloate on the Traffic Commission, term to expire June 30, 1984.
