CITY OF COSTA MESA
January 20, 1982
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, California,
met in adjourned regular session on January 20, 1982, at
5:30 p.m., in the fifth floor Conference Room of City
Hall, 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, said meeting having been
duly and regularly ordered adjourned from the meeting of
January 18, 1982, and a copy of the Notice of Adjournment
having been posted as required by law.
Roll Call Council Members Present: Schafer, Hall, Hertzog,
McFarland, Johnson
Council Members Absent:
Officials Present:
None
City Manager, Assistant City
Attorney, Development Services
Director, City Clerk
At this point the City Clerk was excused from the balance
of the meeting.

Planning A motion was made by Vice Mayor Hall, seconded by Council -
Commissioner man Johnson, and carried unanimously, and Mark Sloate was
Appointed appointed to fill the unexpired term of Richard Carstensen,
on the Planning Commission, term to expire December 31,
1982.
Traffic A motion was made by Vice Mayor Hall, seconded by Council -
Commissioner woman Hertzog, and carried, the Mayor was authorized to

Sloate on the Traffic Commission, term to expire June 30,
1984.
Adjournment The Mayor adjourned the.meeting at 10:20 p.m.
