SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF COSTA MESA
MARCH 13, 1995
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, California, met in
special session March 13, 1995, at 5:30 p.m., in the fifth floor
Conference Room of City Hall, 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa,
following the regularly scheduled Study Session, to interview
applicants for the Planning Commission and Parks, Recreation
Facilities and Parkways Commission. Notice of the special meeting
was given as required by law. The meeting was called to order by
the Mayor.
ROLL CALL Council Members Present: Mayor Joe Erickson
Vice Mayor Peter Buffa
Council Member Mary Hornbuckle
Council Member Sandra Genis
Council Member Gary Monahan
Council Members Absent: None
Officials Present: City Manager Allan Roeder
NEW BUSINESS The City Council interviewed eight Costa Mesa residents for
PlanningCommission; positions on the Planning Commission and the Parks, Recreation
and Parks, Recreation Facilities and Parkways Commission: Michael Dunlevie, Mark
Facilities and Park- Harris, Michael Higuchi, Craig Bothwell, Thomas Steinfeld, Bruce
ways Commission Garlich, Mary Lou Dorn, and Ed Hodges.
MOTION On motion by Mayor Pro Tem Buffa, seconded by Council Member
Reappointed Dixon Hornbuckle, and carried 5-0, Linda Dixon and Walter Davenport
and Davenport to were reappointed to the Planning Commission for four-year terms
Planning Commission which expire February 28, 1999.
MOTION/Appointed
A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Buffa, seconded by Council
Dunlevie, Dunn, and
Member Hornbuckle, and carried 5-0, appointing Michael Dunlevie,
Harris to Parks,
Mike Dunn, and Mark Harris to the Parks, Recreation Facilities and
Recreation Facilities
Parkways Commission for four-year terms which expire March 31,
and Parkways
1999.

ADJOURNMENT The Mayor declared the meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
