HomeMy WebLinkAbout66-50 Zoning Trailer House OccupancyORDINANCE NO. 6 4 -.f O AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO TRAILER HOUSE OCCUPANCY ON RESIDENTIALLY ZONED PROPERTY. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. There is hereby added to Article 6 of Chapter VIII of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa a Section No. 8611, to read as follows: "Section 8611. Prohibited Use. It is hereby declared unlawful for any person or entity to use or occupy any trailer coach for residential purposes upon any tract of land not licensed as a trailer park or upon any public street within the City of Costa Mesa unless a permit is first obtained from the City Council. Notwithstanding the foregoing, trailer coaches may be stored within the City of Costa Mesa providing said trailers are not occupied for residential purposes." SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from its passage shall be published once in the ORANGE COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same.
