Air samples wen analyzed in general accordance with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health(NIOSH) Method 7400. This method describes air sampling parameters and a protocol for analyzing air steeples via Phase Contra Microscopy (PCM). The NIOSH Method 7400 describes a procedure which provides results that indicate approximate concentrations of any type of airborne particulate matter which meet specified aspect ratio and size criteria. Particulate matter which meets the specified criteria are classified as fibers. The method does not count all fibers in all size ranges nor does it differentiate asbestos fibers from other types of fibers. PCM analysis of air samples was performed at H's field laboratory located at the site. Air samples obtained to determine if the abatemem work areas met final air clearance criteria were collected and analyzed in general accordance with the Environmental Protection Agency's(EPA) Recommended clearance criterion of 0.01 fico. Basil an the attached laboratory results and au visual observations, this building is able to be occupied without respiratory proextion.
