Air samples were analyzed in general accordance with the National Institute for Occupational Safer),and Health(NIOSH)Method 7400. This method describes air sampling parameters and a protocol for analyzing air samples via Phase Contract Microscopy (PCM). The SLOSH Method 7400 describes a procedure which provides results that indicate approximate concentrations of any type of airborne particulate matter which meet specified aspect ratio and size criteria. Particulate matter which meets the specified criteria are classified as fibers. The method does not count all fibers in all siae ranges nor does it differentiate asbestos fibers from other types of fibers. PCM analysis of air samples was performed at Tri- H's field laboratory located at the site. Air samples obtained to determine if the abatement work areas met final air clearance criteria were collected and analyzed in general accordance with the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Recommended clearance criterion of 0.01 f/cc. Based on the attached laboratory results and our visual observations. this building is able to be occupied without respiratory protection. If further asbestos abatement is performed in this building Tri-H should be notified to rntiampfe the air prior to occupancy of the area.
