ORDINANCE NO. 65-20
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
TO PROVIDE FOR THE ADOPTION OF THE 1964 EDITION OF THE
UNIFORM BUILDING CODE AND AMENDMENTS THERETO.
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 5100 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa is
hereby amended to read as follows.
"Those certain documents, three copies of which are on file in the
office of the City Clerk, being marked and identified as Volume I
of the Uniform Building Code, 1964 Edition, as amended and as the
same shall be hereafter amended, and Volume III, entitled Uniform
Building Code Standards, 1964 Edition, as published by the Inte4otional
Conference of Building Officials, are hereby adopted as the Building
Code of the City of Costa Mesa, including the Appendix to Volume I thereof."
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30)
days from and after its passage, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days
from the passage thereof shall be published once in the ORANGE COAST DAILY PILOT, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa,
together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against
the same.
