AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
CHANGING THE ZONING OF AN AREA BETWEEN SANTA ANA AVENUE AND
WESTMINSTER AVENUE, SOUTHERLY OF EAST 18TH STREET, FROM R2
TO R3 AND R4.
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. All that portion of the following described real property is
hereby placed and included 1n the R3 Zone, to wit:
Lots 1 through 9, inclusive, and Lots 14 through 22, inclusive,
of Tract No. 3202, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Misc-
ellaneous Maps Book 108, page 10, Records of Orange County, Calif-
ornia.
SECTION 2. All that portion of the following described real property is
hereby placed and included in the R4 Zone, to wit:
The southeasterly 468 feet of Lot 124; the southeasterly 160 feet
of the northeasterly 66 feet, the southeasterly 175 feet of the
southwesterly 132.15 feet of the northeasterly 198.15 feet, the
southwesterly 132 feet of Lot 114, Newport Heights Tract, as shown
on a map thereof recorded in Miscellaneous Maps Book 4, Page 83,
Records of Orange County, California.
Lots 10 and 11 of Thact No. 3202, as shown on a map thereof recorded
in Miscellaneous Maps Book 108, page 10, Records of said Orange County.
SECTION 3. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 9230.4 of the Municipal Code
of the City of Costa Mesa, District Map G-2 of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of the R3 and R4 areas described in Sections 1 and 2 hereof.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30)
days from and after its passage, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days
from the passage thereof shall be published once in the MANGE COAST DAILY PILOT, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa,
together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the
same.
PASSED AND ADOPTED, this 4th day of December, 1961.
