Home My WebLink About62-01 Building Setbacks; Harbor BlvdORDINANCE NO. p"2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA ESTABLISHING A BUILDING SETBACK LINE ON THE EAST SIDE OF HARBOR BOULEVARD BETWEEN 19TH STREET AND BERNARD STREET. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The following building setback line is hereby established for the east side of Harbor Boulevard between 19th, Street and Bernard Street: Beginning at a point on the south side of Lot 1, Tract No. 809, as shown on a. map recorded in Miscellaneous Maps Book 24, page 25, records of Orange County, California, said point being 65 feet east of the centerline of Harbor Boulevard; thence north, parallel with the said centerline of Harbor Boulevard, a distance of 65 feet; thence east, parallel with the south line of said Lot 1, 35 feet; thence north, parallel with the centerline of Harbor Boulevard, to the north line of Lot 9 of said Tract 809. Also a line that is 60 feet east of and parallel with the centerline of Harbor Boulevard, lying within Lot 3 of Tract 1002, as said lot is shown on a map recorded in Miscellaneous Maps Book 33, page 11, records of said Orange County. SECTION 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 9298.7 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa, District Map C-3 is hereby amended by the addition thereto of the building setback line established by Section 1 of this Ordinance. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof shall be published once in the ORANGE COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same.
