Home My WebLink About62-09 Amending Traffic Stops/ParkingCRDINANC3 NO. 6-2-0 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA TO PROVIDE THAT EAST AND 'WEST BOUND TRAFFIC ON VICTORIA STREET SHALL STOP AT POMONA AVENUE, AND RESTRICTING PARKING ON VICTORIA STREET AT HARBOR BOULEVARD. The City Council of the City of Costa 2:esa does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Section 3464 of the M:ueicipal Code of the City of Costa Merz, designating through streets in the City of Costa Mesa, is hereby amended to make that portion of said Section 3464 describing Victoria Street read as follows: "VICTORIA STREET, between the westerly line of Newport Avenue and the westerly City limits, EXCLUDING Harbor Boulevard, and EXCEPTING that east and westbound traffic shall stop at Placentia Avenue and Pomona Avenue intersections." SECTION 2. Section 3449 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby amended by the addition thereto of the following paragraph: On the North side of Victoria Street from 106 feet west of the centerline of Harbor Boulevard to 99 feet east of the centerline of Harbor Boulevard, and on the South side of Victoria Street from 110 feet west of the center- line of Harbor Boulevard to 123 feet east of the centerline of said Harbor Boulevard." SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (1$) days from the passage thereof shall be published once in the ORANGE COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same.
