contac[ [he appropriate utility company before restoring the service.
(X) The struchue may have been weakened by the incident. Until a swcwral survey can be made, it is advisable to keep all
unnecessary people out of and away from [he building.
O Buildings that canno[ be locked or secured by normal means must be secured by alternative means. Bazricades and/or
fencing aze required [o prevent unauthorived entry. I[ may be necessary to provide a sewrity guard.
(k) Rebuilding and/or repairing the damage will require permits (e.g., building, electrical, etc.) from the City of Costa Mesa's
Development Services Deparimen[, Building Safety Division. They may be contacted Monday through Friday bet«�een
�the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. by calling (714) 754-5273.
T'he Costa Mesa Fire Departmen[ and [he Costa Mesa Police Department retain [he right to re-enter [he property
at reasonable hours, should their investigation of this incident require such re-en[ry.

discretion in providing emergency assistance advice.
