Home My WebLink About70-06 - Defining the term "Garage"ORDINANCE NO. 70-6 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DEFINING THE TERM "GARAGE" AS THE SAME APPEARS IN THE COSTA MESA MUNICIPAL CODE. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Chapter IX, Article 3, Division II of the Costa Mesa Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding Section 9320.8 which shall read as follows: "Sec. 9320.8 "Garage." As used in this chapter a garage shall be either an accessory building not connected to the living unit or that portion of the living unit designated and set aside for automobile parking fully endlosed on all sides by either walls or fully glazed openings and shall include a door or doors suitably hinged so that the entrance opening may be maintained in a closed condition at any time." SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from its passage shall be published once in the ORANGE COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same.
