HomeMy WebLinkAbout70-20 - Rezoning Lot 63, Newport Heights Tract, from AP to R3-CPORDINANCE NO. 70-20 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOT 63, NEWPORT HEIGHTS TRACT, FROM AP TO R3 -CP. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesadoes hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. All that portion of the following described real property is hereby placed and included in the R3 -CP Zone, to wit: That portion of Lot 63 of Newport Heights Tract as per map recorded in Book 4, page 83 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at a point of the Northwesterly line of said Lot 63, 25.00 feet Southwesterly from the most Northerly corner of said Lot running tbence Southeasterly parallel to the Northeasterly line of said Lot, 155.00 feet; thence South- westerly parallel to the Northwesterly line of said Lot, 132.58 feet; thence Northwesterly parallel to the North- easterly lime of said Lot, 45.00 feet; thence Southwesterly parallel to the Northwesterly line of said Lot, 7.50 feet; thence Northwesterly parallel to the Northeasterly line of said Lot, 110.00 feet to a point in the Northwesterly line of said Lot; thence Northeasterly along said Northwesterly line, 140.08 feet to the point of beginning. All that certain land situated in the State of California, County of Orange, Newport Heights Irrigation District, Costa Mesa Sanitary District, City of Costa Mesa, described as follows: Parcel 1. That portion of Lot 63 of Newport Heights, as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, page 83 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the most Westerly corner of said Lot 63; thence Northeasterly along the Northwesterly line of said Lot, 91.28 feet; thence Southeasterly parallel with the South- westerly line of said Lot, 110 feet; thence Southwesterly parallel with the Northwesterly line of said Lot, 91.28 feet; thence Northwesterly along the Southwesterly line of said Lot to the point of beginning. Parcel 2. That portion of Lot 63 of Newport Heights as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, page 83 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the Northwesterly line of said Lot 63, distant thereon 91.28 feet Northeasterly from the most Westerly corner of said Lot; thence running Northeasterly along said Northwesterly line, 73.79 feet, thence Southeasterly parallel with the Southwesterly line of said Lot; 110 feet; thence South- westerly parallel with the Northwesterly line of said Lot, 73.79 feet; thence Northwesterly parallel with the Northeasterly line of said Lot, 110 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 9230.4 0£ the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa, District Map G-1 of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby amended by the addition thereto of the R3 -CP area described in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof shall be published once in the ORANGE COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same.
