HomeMy WebLinkAbout70-30 - Williams Annexation to Park and Recreation DistrictORDINANCE NO. 70-30 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ACTING AS THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA PARK AND RECREATION DISTRICT, APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRTTORY CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF COSTA MESA IN THE COUM OF ORANGE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, KNOWN AS WILLIAMS ANNEXATION. THE, CITY ODUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, ACTING AS THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA PARK AND RECREATION DISTRICT, DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the annexation of the Costa Mesa Park and Recreation District, County of Orange, State of California, of that certain uninhabited territory, contiguous to said City of Costa Mesa, is hereby approved and the said territory is hereby ordained to be annexed to and made a part of the Costa Mesa Park and Recreation District; that said territory, known as Williams Annexation is particularly described in a map and legal description attached hereto marked Exhibit A and by this reference made a part hereof. SECTION 2. That the proceedings for annexation herein ordained are had and taken under the provisions of the act of the Legislature of the State of California designated and referred to as the "Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939". SECTION 3.
