Home My WebLink About71-24 - Rezoning Portion Lot 703, Newport Mesa Tract, from R2 to R4-CPORDINANCE NO. %/-a AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF LOT 703, NEWPORT MESA TRACT, FROM R2 TO R4 -CP. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. All that portion of the following described real property is hereby placed and included in the R4 -CP Zone, to wit: That portion of Lot 703 of Newport Mesa Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 5, Page 1 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, together with a portion of Placentia Avenue adjoining said Lot on the West described as a whole as follows: Beginning at a point in the centerline of Placentia Avenue, as shown on said Map distant thereon 80 feet Northerly from its intersection with the Westerly extension of the Southerly line of said Lot 703 and running thence Northerly along said centerline 125 feet; thence Easterly parallel with the Southerly line of said Lot and the extension thereof, 264 feet; thence Southerly parallel with said centerline of Placentia Avenue, 125 feet; thence Westerly parallel with the Southerly line of said Lot 703 and the Extension thereof, 264 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 9230.4 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa, District Map B-2 of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby amended by the addition thereto of the R4 -CP area described in Section 1 hereof SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof shall be published once in the ORANGE COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same.
