HomeMy WebLinkAbout72-07 - Speed Limits on Sunflower Avenuefollows: ORDINANCE NO. 72-7 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 3416.1 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA TO ESTABLISH SPEED LIMITS ON SUNFLOWER AVENUE. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as SECTION 1. Section 3416.1 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa entitled: "Decrease of State Law Maximum Speed," is herebyamended by the addition thereto of the following: "SUNFLOWER AVENUE, from Hyland Avenue to existing railroad 40 MPH SUNFLOWER AVENUE, from existing railroad to Fairview Road 50 MPH SUNFLOWER AVENUE, from Fairview Road to Bristol Street 40 MPH" SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become in full effect and force thirty (30) days from and after the passage thereof, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from its passage shall be published once in the ORANGE COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting- for and against the same.
