Home My WebLink About72-11 - Rezoning Lot 8, Fairview Farms, from R2 to C1-CPORDINANCE NO. 72-11 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF LOT 8, FAIRVIEW FARMS, FROM R2 TO C1 -CP. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. All that portion of the following described real property is hereby placed and included in the C1 -CP Zone, to wit: That portion of Lots 7 and 8 of Fairview Farms in the City of Costa Mesa, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 8, Page 71, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, described as follows: That portion of Lot 8 beginning at the intersection of the center line of Harbor Boulevard, 100.00 feet wide, and the prolongation of the north side of said Lot 8; thence easterly along said north line 453.80 feet; thence southerly parallel with the center line of Harbor Boulevard 448.33 feet to the center line of Victoria Street; thence westerly along said center line 453,80 feet to the center line of Harbor Boulevard; thence northerly along said center line to the point of beginning. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the westerly 270 feet of the southerly 218.00 feet. That portion of Lot 7 beginning at the intersection of the center line of Harbor Boulevard, 100.00 feet wide, and the prolongation of the south side of Lot 7; thence easterly 330.00 feet; thence northerly parallel to the center line of Harbor Boulevard 60.00 feet; thence westerly parallel to the south side of Lot 7, 330.00 feet to the center line of Harbor Boulevard; thence southerly along said center line to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 9230.4 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa, District Map C-4 of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby amended by the addition thereto of the C1 -CP area described in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof shall be published once in the ORANGE COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same.
