Home My WebLink About72-37 - Rezoning Portions Lot 9, Block E, Berry Tract, from R2 and M1 to C1-CPORDINANCE NO. 72-37 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, CHANGING THE ZONING OF PORTIONS OF LOT 9, BLOCK E, BERRY TRACT, FROM R2 AND M1 TO C1 -CP. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby ordain as follows. SECTION 1. All that portion of the following described real property is hereby placed and included in the C1 -CP zone, to wit: The Northerly 100 feet of the Southerly 200 feet of the Northerly 415 feet measured from the Southerly line of Baker Street (80 feet wide) of Lot 9 in Block E of Berry Tract in the Costa Mesa Sanitary District; City of Costa Mesa as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 30, page 4 of Miscellaneous Maps of Los Angeles County, California, lying Southeasterly of the Southeasterly line of Bristol Street (80 feet wide) as conveyed to Orange County by deed recorded December 27, 1949 in Book 1945, page 372, Official Records in the Office of the County Recorder of said Orange County. SECTION 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 9230.4 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa, District Map E-7 of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby amended by the addition thereto of the C1 -CP area described in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof shall be published once in the ORANGE COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Costa Mesa, together with the names of the members of the City Council voting for and against the same.
