AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA
MESA, CALIFORNIA, CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF
IAT 21 OF TRACT NO. 9 FROM R2 TO R3 -CP.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. All that portion of the following described real property is
hereby placed and included in the R3 -CP Zone, to wit:
That portion of Lot 21 of Tract No. 9, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 9, Page 9 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Northerly line of said Lot 21, 130.25 feet
West of the Northeast corner of said lot; thence Westerly along said
Northerly line 55 feet; thence Southerly, parallel with the West line
of said Lot 21, to a point in the Northwesterly line of Lot 28 of said
Tract No. 9; thence Northeasterly along said Northwesterly line to the
Southwest corner of the land described in the deed to Harold A. Hunsaker
and wife, recorded January 3, 1947 in Book 1504, Page 473 of Official
Records; thence North along the West line of said land conveyed to
Hunsaker, 386.36 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING one-half of all oil as excepted in deed recorded June 22,
1932 in Book 566, Page 17 of Official Records.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 9230.4 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Costa Mesa, District Map C-3 of the City of Costa Mesa is
hereby amended by the addition thereto of the R3 -CP area described in
Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty
(30) days from and after its passage, and prior to the expiration of fifteen
(15) days from the passage thereof shall be published once in the ORANGE
COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published
in the City of Costa Mesa, together with the names of the members of the City
Council voting for and against the same.
