Home My WebLink About03-66 - Application/Acceptance of 2003 Local Law Enforcement Block Grant AllocationRESOLUTION NO. 03-66 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR, AND ACCEPTANCE OF YEAR 2003 LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANT ALLOCATION. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, the U.S. Department has made funds available through the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Program for the purchase of equipment, technology, and other materials directly related to basic law enforcement functions; and WHEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa wishes to participate in the Local Law Enforcement Block Program for the Year 2003; and WHEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa has been awarded $51,036.00 in Local Law Enforcement Block Grant funds for the Year 2003; and WHEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa agrees to provide matching funds in the amount of $5,671.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council.of the City of Costa Mesa hereby approves the application for and acceptance of a grant under the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Program and the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to implement this authorization.
