RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council continues this item to
research and make any modifications to the
Council at their May 11, 2010 Study Session.
BACKGROUND:
their June 1, 2010 meeting to allow additional time to
proposed Graffiti Ordinance, pending input from City
On March 16, 2010, the City Council held a public hearing on proposed amendments to the City's
Graffiti Ordinance. The City Council heard several presentations, asked questions and sought
clarification on specific text and sections in the proposed Ordinance. Public input was taken. On a
4-1 vote, Council Member Bever voting no, this item was continued to the City Council meeting of
April 20, 2010, so that staff could modify and refine wording on certain sections of the Ordinance, as
directed by City Council.
