SUBJECT: OLD BUSINESS ITEM 1 — ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES BUDGET REGARDING
RECREATION AND OTHER PROGRAMMING
The staff report for the above subject item is still in the process of being finalized for consideration by
you and members of the public. The contents of this report involves collecting the most up to date
information possible from various groups in the community who have been fundraising and seeking
commitments of funding for various Recreation Programs and other services. The report has also
been in preparation through the transition of Recreation Manager Jana Ransom's leaving the City's
employment and changing reporting requirements during the transition .in the Recreation Division. I
am obligated to the City Council and the community to insure that the report is accurate, complete
and sufficient upon which you can make decisions regarding the future of these programs.
The final staff report will be finalized over the weekend and will be posted first thing Monday, August
16, 2010.
