We appreciate the opportunity to submit this expense information for your consideration
regarding an extension for the "Driver Services for Senior Mobility Program" contract.
Western Transit has been operating this service at the same rate for the past three years
and current costs necessitate a request for a discounted service hour increase of $1.13 per
hour. The increased costs are primarily due to wages, medical insurance, and auto
liability insurance, please see attached information.
Western Transit has successfully provided service for this project for over 8 years and
wishes to continue to operate the service in a manner that will meet the requirements of
the City of Costa Mesa.
