First and fore most I would like to thank you all for the opportunity to even be able to apply for the cultural arts committee,
and for even considering the possibility of having me be a part of this great group of individuals who dedicate a great deal
of their time and energy into advocating in favor of the arts here in our city, doing whatever they can to make it into the city
of the arts.
My objective and point of interest in joining this committee is very simple and sincere in nature. I basically want to
continue to do whatever I can within my power, abilities, and influence within the community youth to inspire, enriched and
continue to nurture a local artist movement.

I am very fortunate to be part of a local non profit organization called SOY (Save Our Youth) and I am very humbly proud
to have started an arts and music program where we cater and offer our services and facilities to the local youth providing
them with opportunities to be involved in the world of visual and performing arts.
Within our facilities and our yearly calendar of events we provide the students involved withopportunities to show. case
their work as a way to continue to inspire others. and to share their creative individual style allowing the students to grow
artistically and consciously.

My objective in joining the committee is to continue to do the same as in SOY but with a much broader scale, inableling
the arts committee to reach a much younger group of emerging artist who otherwise remain clueless as to what's going
on in our town as far as the world of art is concerned. There's an abundant natural -talent in our community among the
youth but I feel like there needs to be more opportunities for that talent to have a legitimate outlet and platforms to launch
off the exponential amount of promising artist whom might need direction and a helping hand that can help them develop
their artist identity as well.
Over-all I would do whatever it is within my abilities to promote the arts in this beautiful city of ours and I am very exited to
hopefully be a part of the committee, and I am looking forward to meeting every single person involved.
