SUBJECT: CITY COUNCIL STAFF REPORT - NEW BUSINESS ITEM #2 — APPOINTMENTS TO
THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
After distribution of the City Council staff report relative to New Business Item #2 — Appointments- to
the Planning Commission and Parks and Recreation Commission, it was brought to staff's attention
that an error was made indicating commission appointment preference .for applicant Michael
Brumbaugh. The staff report indicates his appointment 1St preference as Planning Commission and
2nd as Parks and Recreation Commission, when in fact; Mr. Brumbaugh's 1St preference is
appointment to Parks and Recreation Commission with appointment to the Planning Commission as
his 2nd preference. He also noted that if the Council chooses to merge the two commissions, he
would respectfully request to be appointed to this new combined Commission.
