Dear city council members,
I'm saddened to hear that you'd be considering lying off additional police
officers and threatening the safety of the Costa Mesa residents. I've lived in
Costa Mesa my entire life, and have always felt safe, due to the well trained police
officers who are always a presence in the community. With the loss of jobs,
economy in such bad shape, and the presence of more gang violence, I'm surprised
that safety of those who pay your salaries in not considered. .
I hope you listen to what the residents of this city are fighting for, and look for a
different solution.
