Subject: Appeal of PA -11-03
Dear Ms. Folcik,
I am working with Mr. Kevin Coleman who's Condition Use Permit Application (PA -11-03) was
denied by the Costa Mesa Planning Commission.
It is our understanding that this matter will be taken up by the Costa Mesa City Council at their
next regular scheduled meeting on September 6th.
We respectfully request that this matter be continued.
Additionally, we are making this request without waiving our right to appeal the Planning
Commission decision to the City Council.
Please confirm that you have received our request and complied.
Thank you for your attention and if you have any questions please feel free to call or e-mail.
Best,

In speaking with our folks I would like to continue this till the oct. 4 meeting if that is possible.
On the staff report the council will not get that now? Is it on the web site or how would I be able
to see this?
Thanks Mel and just let me know if you need anything on this

Kevin — FYI
We had to pull the staff report we prepared for the Council, however, you can still download the Commission
reports from the City's website.
Also, since you did not indicate a date certain for the continuance, we prepared a memo continuing the item for
September 20 (two weeks). Let me know if this was your intent.
Thanks,
Mel Lee, AICP
