SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF COSTA MESA
May 8, 2012
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, California met in a Special Closed
Session, on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in Conference Room 1B, 77,
Fair Drive, Costa Mesa. The meeting was called to order by the Mayor.

PUBLIC COMMENTS
1. Bill Fanter, Costa Mesa, addressed issues regarding a concert at 8:00 a.m.,
related to the OC Marathon and about street improvements affecting residents.
2. Perry Valantine, Costa Mesa, expressed disappointment with the shortened
budget discussion.
Closed Session
Conference with Thomas R. Hatch, Chief Executive Officer, and Labor Negotiator,
Agency Negotiator regarding Employee Organizations: Costa Mesa City Employee
Association (CMCEA), Costa Mesa Firefighters Association (CMFA), Costa Mesa Police
Association (CMPA), Costa Mesa Police Management Association (CMPMA), Costa
Mesa Fire Fighters Management Association, and Costa Mesa Division Managers
Association pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6
There was no Closed Session report.
ADJOURNMENT
The Mayor adjourned the special meeting at 8:00 p.m.
