RESOLUTION NO. 14-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 08-59 BY AMENDING THE FIRE
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSIGNMENT PAY.
The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby resolve, determine and
order as follows:
SECTION 1. Any employee in the job classification of Battalion Chief shall be
entitled to compensation in the amount of 10% of the employee's base salary when
permanently assigned by the Fire Chief to a 40 -hour work week administrative
assignment, which may include Fire Marshall responsibilities. The Fire Administration
Assignment percentage shall be excluded from the Fire Management Certification and
Education Program.
SECTION 2. All resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21St day of January, 2014.
