RECOMMENDATION:
Approve 2013 Annual Report of the Costa Mesa 2002 General Plan.
ANALYSIS:
State Government Code Section 65400 requires that an annual report be made to the
legislative body on the status of the General Plan and progress in its implementation,
including activity towards its share of regional housing needs.
Pursuant to state law, the 2013 Annual Review of the Costa Mesa General Plan
investigates and reports to the City Council and Planning Commission the progress in
implementing the General Plan. The Planning Commission received and recommended
approval of the report at a regularly scheduled meeting on April 14, 2014.
