Amount Requested: $20,000 for program staff and related program operating costs. CM Residents to be Assisted: 14 Committee Recommendation: $20,000 CEO Recommendation: $20,000 Grandma's House of Hooe — Camous-Model Housing Program Proposed Service: Shelter and support services for uniquely challenged homeless women (e.g., women with serious/terminal illness, victims of human trafficking and women in later term pregnancy). Amount Requested: $10,000 for facility rent and utilities. CM Residents to be Assisted: 3 Committee Recommendation: $0 CEO Recommendation: $0 Mercv House — Homelessness Prevention Program & Rapid Re-housin Proposed Service: Program will provide rental assistance to qualified households to prevent the loss of housing, and will also help place those already homeless into permanent housing. Amount Requested: $20,000 for program staff salaries, related program/admin costs and direct financial assistance. CM Residents to be Assisted: 10 Committee Recommendation: $20,000 CEO Recommendation: $20,000 Women's Transitional Living Center (WTLC) — Emergency Shelters Program Proposed Service: Emergency shelter and support services for victims of domestic violence (women and men) and victims of human trafficking. Amount Requested: $10,000 for program staff salaries. Amount Requested: $15,000 for program staff salaries and program equipment including computers, printers and networking hardware. CM Residents to be Assisted: 332 Committee Recommendation: $0 (Failed to show up for interview) CEO Recommendation: $0 Youth Employment Services (YES) — Walk In Services for Youth Proposed Program: Program provides pre-employment and mock interview skills training, job counseling, and employment referrals. Amount Requested: $19,000 for program staff salaries.
