RESOLUTION NO. 64-3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA
MESA, AUTHORIZING A LIMITED CONSOLIDATION OF COSTA MESA
UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT ELECTION WITH THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION
ON APRIL 14, 1964, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT; AND SETTING THE HOURS OF THE
ELECTION.
WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa Union School District is desirous of entering
into a limited consolidation for the conduct of an election with the City of
Costa Mesa General Municipal Election on April 14, 1964; and
WHEREAS, the City Council further determines that it is to the best
interests of City that the polling places be opened from the hours of 7:00 o'clock
A.M. to 7:00 o'clock P.M. on said election date.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Costa
Mesa, as follows:
1. That the limited consolidation of the Costa Mesa Union School District
election with the General Municipal Election of the City of Costa Mesa, in accord-
ance with the terms hereinabove set forth, be and the same are hereby approved,
ratified and confirmed, and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute the
consolidation agreement on behalf of the City.
2. Resolved further that the polls shall be open on the day of election
between the hours of 7:00 o'clock A.M. and 7:00 o'clock P.M.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of January, 1964.

of the City of Costa Mesa, California, do hereby certify that at a regular meeting
of the City Council, City of Costa Mesa, California, held on the 20th day of
January, 1964, the foregoing Resolution No. 64-3 was considered and that said
Resolution was then passed and adopted as a whole by the following roll call
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Meyers, Smith, Wilson, Pinkley, Jordan
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT: Councilmen: None
