RESOLUTION NO. 75-127
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING
NOTICE OF THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON TUESDAY,
THE SECOND DAY OF MARCH, 1976, FOR THE ELEC-
TION OF CERTAIN OFFICERS OF SAID CITY AS
REQUIRED BY THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA RELATING TO GENERAL LAW
CITIES.
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the laws relating to General Law
Cities in the State of California, a regular general municipal election
shall be held on the 2nd day of March, 1976, for the election of three
(3) members of the City Council of said City for the full term of four
years.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALI-
FORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the requirements of the laws of the
State of California relating to General Law Cities within said State,
there shall be, and there is hereby called and ordered, held in the City
of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California, on Tuesday, the
2nd day of March, 1976, a regular general municipal election of the
qualified electors of said City for the purpose of electing three (3)
members of the City Council of said City for the full term of four
years.
SECTION 2. That the ballots to be used at said election shall be,
both as to form and matter contained therein, such as may be required by
law to be used thereat.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk of said City is hereby authorized,
instructed, and directed to procure and furnish any and all official
ballots, notices, printed matter and all supplies, equipment, and
paraphernalia that may be necessary in order to properly and lawfully
conduct said election.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately.
